Laws
§ 1. This guild has always been a meritocracy, not a democracy; this will never change.
§ 2. Use English in guild chat.
Reason: So we all understand each other, and nobody is left out.
§ 3. If you have a bad day, tell about it. Do not disrespect fellow members.
Reason: We are humans.
§ 4. Do not harm the property of others or steal from guild members or any other way cause a negative impact on other people within the guild.
Reason: Kind of self-evident. You do not bite the hand that feeds you. Respect your fellows, and that respect will come to you in return.
§ 5. Welcome to our discord also. This access includes guild University and, in the case of officers, the command school provided by our guild. University functions are primarily in discord, you are free to see the public academic rank system on the page. The university has tower floors, so you have to have a specific academic rank to climb higher in the tower. Command school is offered only up from the ranks of leadcore and RANK LIMIT.
§ 6. If you hold a rank with additional responsibilities, you are bound by guild rules to deliver such deeds. Ranks are not for show.
Reason: Guild works badly without this rule. This has been tested many times over. If you want a higher rank, be well prepared for responsibilities; ranks are not just free privileges.
§ 7. When doing runs with a party, decide on loot-sharing rules before entering the dungeon.
Reason: Things will be better for all team members in this way. Also, if an agreement on loot is made before entering the game, in problem cases, guild officers can help better if things go wrong. This law advises people who want to be equally safe when it comes to gaining loot from team dungeons. Breaking agreements on loot with other guild members is judged with varying punishments by the lead core.
§ 8. We have only a few laws, but for general neglect of laws, being an ass and hindrance will land you punishment. These vary from demerit to deranking and, finally, disbanding of membership in worst cases. The cases are handled, and penalties and merits are handled by leadcore members like all court issues.
§ 9. Most of the privileges come with the rank. Some of the events are always planned for certain ranks.
§ 10. There are generally two ways to rank up: helping others, arranging events, taking part in recruitment and general campaigning or advancing in guild university. Also, the experience can be meritous to some degree. The main point is there are a lot of different ways to rank up. University ranks, however, work only with publications mostly.
§ 11. Demerit law.
Stealing, generally negative behaviour, teasing, shaming, mishandling the guild's trust, and slandering our guild are all serious demerits. Lead core decides how severe these are depending on the case. The most significant demerits are listed below in the list of crimes with additional information.
Demerits are "earned" by anyharmful activities. These can be caused sometimes by knowing or by accident. Accidental mistakes are viewed with lesser demerit. The demerit scale is from -1 to -99; minus 100 would be an instant kick from the guild. Demerits will be written in the contribution list, and they disappear only after earning 100+ contribution points. There is, therefore, a chance to redeem yourself.
List of Crimes
These crimes have been committed by former members or former adversaries of our guild. Each misconduct case is listed by charge and judgment on a case basis here.
