Rank Systems
With higher ranks and privileges comes a higher amount of responsibilities. We tell here what they are so you can dictate your goals better.
In our guild, there are multiple ranking systems based on different activities of the guild. Members can hold multiple ranks, and all the ranks are accounted for in Discord. The first one, the general ranking, is displayed in Discord. But other ranks still matter for any advancement, in some cases significantly. Contribution points are not sole reasoning why someone is promoted, sometimes dedication, talents, activity are deemed more important. For higher ranks contributions are important but also work difficulty raises considerably to raise in these kind of ranks guild must know that appointed person can perform tasks within the rank.
Member
Welcome into the guild. Those who join our Discord are semi-automatically members of the guild.
Benefits: You are a member of a competent guild in a game with mostly no guilds. Inner trading, events, free items for members, easier rush opportunities, price knowledge, and other knowledge related to game and life. Very little or any responsibilities other than following guild laws.
Advancement: Making meritorious activities and receive contribution points.
Squire
Benefits: You gain access to the first floor of Guild University as a student. In addition to normal contributions, you can write for guild university and receive contribution points for published texts. Guild places more trust in you, and you gain access to more events. You gain access to different advancement routes. You gain the first rank of novice trader and can get forward as a trader in the guild.
Advancement: Besides activity and contributions, squires can advance solely by recruiting and advertising the guild.
Knight
Benefits: You gain access to the second floor of Guild
University.
Advancement: Meritorious deeds and activities, easy difficulty academic achievements, or easy difficulty achievements in house of economics. Knows guild values by heart.
Veteran Knight
Benefits: You gain access to the third floor of Guild University. You have a right to hold events within the guild. Inform the field commander of your event so it can be officially announced, preferably ahead of time. Successful events will earn you contribution points, anyone can make events but only overseen official events will receive contribution points.
Responsibilities: If you make an event, you are responsible for it. If something goes wrong, however, we all make mistakes, so be creative. You don't have to create events, but it's within your rights now.
Advancement: Continuous meritorious deeds, occasional
recruitments, and activities, medium-difficulty academic achievements or
medium-difficulty achievements in house of economics. Basically recruitments and commitment to guild functions have to happen before anyone is even concidered to be promoted to the rank of captain.
Elite Knight
*Special rank for those who are part of killing squads of the guild.
Benefits: In addition to veteran knight benefits you gain access to battle school and killing squad intel.
Responsibilities: As a member of killing squad, you are expected to handle kill orders without any delay. Continuous delaying or inactivity will result to demotion.
Advancement: Continuous meritorious deeds, occasional recruitments, and activities, medium-difficulty academic achievements or medium-difficulty achievements in house of economics. Basically recruitments and commitment to guild functions have to happen before anyone is even considered to be promoted to the rank of captain.
Captain
Benefits: You gain access to the fourth floor of Guild University, and you have access to command school. Relevant information on the command school on the university page.
Responsibilities: Captains oversee recruitment and advertising efforts and must know guild guidelines in detail. They are officers of the guild, maintaining the smoothness of all operations. +Anything commanders will throw at you.
Advancement: Meritorious deeds, systematic recruitment efforts, and activities, higher academic rank, or higher house of economics rank required. Embodies the guild values.
Field Commander
Benefits: You gain access to the fifth floor of Guild University, and you have access to the command school. You are considered a member of the lead core from now on.
Responsibilities: Your rank gets the ability to post events; this can be taken as a benefit and responsibility at the same time. You get to choose what events are official or what should be mentioned for the whole guild. You can organize recruitment events and call upon captains to fulfil these events. Field commander has right to file contribution points for any members meritorious activities.
Advancement: Enough contributions and knowledge on guild's inner workings. Enough leadership training.
Battle Commander
Benefits: You gain access to the sixth floor of Guild University, and you have access to command school. Also, you have the right to teach leadership skills in command school if your relevant academic rank is high enough. There can be multiple battle commanders, but not many.
Responsibilities: Your task is to give meaningful projects to field commanders and plan guild activities with the related Lord. Battle commander has right in addition of contribution point reports to give demerits to any rank below them.
Advancement: Advancing to nobility is arduous since we will only have a handful of lords dedicated to each sector of the guild. People are handpicked based on their merits, activity, knowledge, and capabilities.
Nobility ranks
Nobility ranks are given to people who are dedicated to the guild, and they have more vast responsibilities in one or more sectors of our guild activities. These ranks are given in addition to the normal military rankings for additional focus areas. Nobility ranks can be taken away based on activity. The whole guild suffers if someone with these ranks is inactive for months. This rule doesn't apply if person informs about official break during ladder season.
Nobility holds all the land of the guild. Based on the amount of land, people can determine the workload of each noble. Some nobility titles are in plural, some only for one person at a time based on responsibilities. All nobility title holders have access to the final seventh floor in the guild university.
Lord of Levelling
These lords are the ones who are dedicated to baalruns and rush others. They lead all manner of events under their name.
Lord of Killing
Tasks of this lord is to oversee killing squads of the guild for the security purposes. In addition, this lord is responsible for inner activity of battle school, investigations of abuse by foreign adversaries. Therefore, lord of killing also dictates the conditions and requirements for the title of elite knights and regulates the responsibilities of killing squad members.
Lord of Economics
This Lord is responsible for the house of economics advancements and developments of our guild's inner trade.
Lord of Recruitment
This Lord handles guild-wide recruitment and advertisement schemes and awards contribution points based on these duties.
Lord of Court
Handless most of the disputes within the guild. This Lord's decisions can be only overruled by Lord of Advice or Emperor. Has right to add demerits on contribution list. Has right to decide if member must be kicked out (only emperor can veto this decision).
Lord of Advice
Hardest task after emperor within the guild. This title holder must have reliable, relevant knowledge and skills to fit this position to advise emperor and lords on guild issues. The task requires higher academic achievements.
Emperor
Responsibility: Wellbeing and coordination of the whole guild. Academic master tasks of the guild university. Will give himself demerits if he fucks up.

House of Economics
Membership in this house is related to trading. This is our way of handling who are merited as traders within the guild. Higher merits benefit trading credibility within the guild. To advance as a trader is the most important factor, but also commencing in guild university will ease advancement in the house of economics. House of Knowledge
In Guild University, you can affect the general rise of your rank the most by publishing guides, random writings, parodies, whatever you want people to read and what you would prefer to get your academic titles for. Guild University ranks are here. Each writing is reviewed and published by academic master.
