University Ranks

Our Guild University academic titles and ranks are as follows. All the titles and ranks will be updated here.

Student

To get this rank: Everyone in the guild starts with this one at the rank of squire.

Advantages: Your name will be shown on the degree list if you have published something.

Advancing requirements for the next degree: You must submit a small study/research on game-related subjects. If the submitted work passes the evaluation, you pass and get the rank of Candidate.

Candidate

Advantages: You have established and displayed your academic standing within Guild University.

Advancing requirements for next degree: To get a Master Graduate degree, you must have at least 6 of your works published by Guild University.

Master Graduate

Advantages: You have truly shown that you have the mettle for this.

Advancing requirements for next degree: Has written 10 published works with 1 extended study in one field. Has passed exam on the extended study subject (roleplay option).

Doctor (of a subject)

Advantages: You have the right to perform lectures on your subject. University staff will decide the time and place.

Responsibilities: A doctor's key responsibility is some level of behaviour and the need to display professionalism when lecturing.

Advancing requirements to become a staff member of the university: If you are dedicated enough to professor and get new material published regularly, you can become a professor at Guild University. You can study as many as you like, but you need to restart from the student for another degree. All old doctorates will be held on the records at the Guild University page.

Professor (of subject)

Advantages: As an employee of Guild University, you have unlimited access to research material unless it is classified. If you have research that needs specific information, you can request similar material from the academic master. You also have the right to perform any subject lectures in your own time. Just remember to tell about them to Academy master.

Responsibilities: Sorting out academic studies with academic master, and being an advisor in their field of study. Needs to actively publish new material for university. (role play option) Can perform lectures and exams.
